ABSTRACT

Acute pancteatitis is defined as sudden onset of abdominal pain and elevation of pancreatic enzymes in blood and/or urine, and radiographic changes of pancreas. Acute pancreatitis is uncommon in children when compared with adults. We reported the case of acute pancreatitis in a 12 years old boy with pseudocyst formation and pancreatic necrosis secondary to acute cholelithiasis.
