ABSTRACT

Hydatid cyst, a parasitic disease as a result of Echinococcus Granulosus infection, still stands out as a very important health problem in endemic areas. Although liver and lungs are the most common localizations, hydatid cyst might also be seen at the other parts of the body. The aim of this report is to present a case in which the disease occurred primarily in thyroid gland.
