By signing this agreement, authors acknowledge that, if the manuscript is accepted, it will be published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

Under this policy, authors retain the copyright and all proprietary rights to their work, including patent rights. Authors grant the journal and the publisher a non-exclusive right to publish the accepted manuscript. The CC BY-NC 4.0 license permits non-commercial use, distribution, adaptation, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.

If previously published materials—such as figures, tables, images, or any other copyrighted content—are included, authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions from the original copyright holders. All legal, financial, or criminal liabilities arising from the use of third-party materials rest solely with the author(s).

All opinions, interpretations, and conclusions expressed in the articles published in YJHS are those of the author(s) alone. Yeditepe University, the editor-in-chief, the editorial board, and the publisher do not assume any responsibility for the content of the published articles.
